Sunfish Escape

We had a creative challenge of solving for an aquarium tank that also gave the player a feeling of level progression and gameplay. We white boarded out the following which turned out to be a bubble shape, which we found ironic, considering the theme. 




With the thought of designing a "turbine like" map– we realized we could make a map that allowed the player to start in a spawning area, and then continue forward, all while staying in a continuous loop once they leave the starting point.

Next we are mapping out level designs and implementing our Scuba AI with vision cones to help detect the sunfish as he escapes into other tanks to visit new faces! 😄
